Pictures can be important to us. Sometimes a picture is all we have left to represent our family heritage so we want to optimize that picture to preserve our family history as best it can. Over decades of storage and disuse an image can be torn, mildewed, faded or distorted in many ways...but with today's technology, that image can be revived and reprinted on stock that will last for lifetimes to come. That's what we do at iPhotoPhix.com...restore and manipulate your damaged images, then provide you with a reproduced version utilizing today's technology.

How to Scan and Send Your Images

You have two options for transporting your images to us.

  1. Mailing the original.
  2. You keep the original, scan it and e-mail it or mail the image on a CD.

Obviously the ideal method of transport is the electronic method. No one wants to part with their valuable original pictures. So how is this accomplished? Do not fear...it is really very easy. How many kids do you know? Just call one of them and say, "Hey dude, I need to scan a picture and e-mail it. Can you help me with that please?" The person helping you will need to know a few important details...

  1. Scan the picture at 300 dpi (dots per inch).
  2. Do not crop or edit the image in any manner. We want the raw scan.
  3. If the image is torn into many pieces, reassemble the pieces as best you can on a sheet of white paper and scan the pieces all together in one scan.
  4. If the image file is larger than 5 megs you may want to consider burning the image to CD and mailing it. If you have trouble e-mailing the image, the file size may be too large, especially if you have a dial up connection. Contact your internet service provider for assistance or take the image on a disk to a friend who has fast access and e-mail it from there. You can always call or e-mail us for assistance. 423.364.9999
  5. E-mail the image to sales@iphotophix.com

Mailing Your Pictures

If plan "A" fails and you are not able to scan your picture, you can snail mail it to us. We will evaluate it and call you with a quote. Important: Include a self addressed and stamped envelope and your pictures will be returned the next business day. Also, place cardboard on both sides of you picture to keep it from being damaged in the mail. Mail your pictures to:
